This was a very easy read and a book that can be read all in one go or dipped into as needed. The author favours a nicely balanced no nonsense approach to manners, believing that parents should expect good manners from children but not so strict that they can't show their spirit and enjoy their characters.

It gives lots of advice and strategies for dealing with behaviour and manners in all ages of children, in lots of different situations, from basic table manners to teaching respect and behaviour at school. This would be a great book for parents of toddlers and teenagers alike. I would definitely recommend this book, well worth reading.
