Recipe of the Week - Butter Bean and Pesto Soup

empty soup bowl

If you're a fan of soups, then give this one a go. Sounds weird but unbelievably tasty and easy to make.

Home-made Baked Beans

Baked beans on toast

Commercially prepared baked beans are often high in salt and sugar. (Some have as many as 4 teaspoons of sugar and almost as much salt as a young child should eat in a whole day). These beans contain a fraction of that amount and I think you (and your family will agree) after you have experienced what baked beans can really taste like there really will be no going back!

Figs with goat‛s cheese, pecans and honey-balsamic dressing

Fresh figs

This is an incredibly stylish, sophisticated starter. Made from fresh, seasonal ingredients it tastes divine, looks fabulous and takes minutes to make. As if all that wasn't enough each serving is only 138 calories too!

Vegetable & Nut Pate

Nuts and seeds are packed full of protein and essential immune boosting, brain enhancing fatty acids. This recipe combines them with carrots, celery and leeks to make a really nutritious pate that is great served as a dip or spread on pitta, bread or inside burger buns.

Pumpkin Soup
