Funny Words

Does anyone else have funny words their children use that you find yourself using? My youngest calls his blanket 'snuggles' his dummy'boo bah' and worst of all has started pointing to my boobs calling them 'rumblies'(-no he hasn't heard his dad call them anything!!!)he also says he wants to go 'bee bo' for a sleep. So when we're out it's strange for people to hear us saying'do you want your snuggles and boo bah for bee bo's?' at least when he points and says 'rumblies' no one gets what he means!...Its just fuuny how a 2 year old has these words and we dont know where they came from

Pet Dog

29/11/07 18.33hrs Hi Lorraine and Gill My 2yr old son William has a puppy dog (not a real dog)and is forever sucking at its tail! it used to be an old andrex dog which I purchased years ago when I collected to vouchers on the back of the andrex loo roll packets. Most people that see him in town look at him rather funny. It has been washed so many times that it is looking rather thread bare and has shrunk slightly. We even have the famous puppy dog on our wedding photos. Regards Christine

Dummy or Dodie

My little ones had a few words for things that only we understood. The fun came when having other little children around that used different words. We could all be looking for the 'dummy', 'dodie', 'soother' at the same time, with me calling it different things to different children!
