Iheard on today's news on the radio that if your child is starting secondary school today they will have to stay in compulsory education until they're 18 now not 16. Is this right? I thought it was only an idea and a law hadn't been passed yet. It isn't leaving long for extra college places or school rooms to be ready! Has anyone else heard anything about this?
