I was surprised at how sturdy this cup was when we got it and I thought Jasmine was bound to spill her juice if she put her mind to it anyway. The design is good and I was trying to get Jasmine to use cups rather than spouts but at the same time not have a nervous breakdown worrying about the furniture and carpets.

I found with the other cups that once you take the lid off they are quite wide at the top, wider than a childs mouth, so when the cup is tipped up the juice goes everywhere making a terrible mess but with this ulrta stable cup it is not too wide to drink from but the base is wide making it sturdy. I now find that the majority of the time Jasmine will drink out of this cup like a grown-up, otherwise I give her another cup and put the lid on it as I am nervous she will spill it everywhere.

For this reason I think that the ultra stable cup does what it says in the packaging and settles my nerves so is a great product.
