Petite Star Kurvi

What is it ...
The Petite Star Kurvi is a pushchair which comes in two designs - 3 wheeled or 4 wheeled. It starts out as a pram, then by altering the footrest and backrest can be converted into a stroller. With the purchase of a car seat it is also a travel system. Suitable from birth to about 3 years.
Why MumKnowsBest loves it ...
We tried out the Kurvi 3 in moonstone and found it to be a fabulous stylish pushchair. We used it as a combination pram with the car seat.
The car seat is a group 0 carrier with a hood attached which fits with attachments onto the Kurvi frame. The seat attaches very easily to make it quick and convenient when out and about in the car without disturbing baby.
If you are using the Kurvi without the car seat, the seat unit starts off as being a pram seat which makes it totally flat for your newborn. The seat unit fits extremely easily onto the chassis, in fact it is one of the easiest that I've seen, it can be used facing rearwards or forwards, so is very adaptable. As baby starts getting older you simply lift up the back of the seat unit and fold down the foot part and you have an instant stroller. When your child goes to sleep, the reclining part is very smooth to lower down.
A great feature for us was the ability to change the height of the handle, great for smaller women with taller partners! I have to say though that the shopping basket was rather on the small side, really only big enough for small bags or the raincover. The raincover is a good size and there is also a peer through window in the large hood/sun shade, which always comes in useful.
We found the pram to be very easy to steer, one of the best three wheeled prams that we have tried recently and was great on rough terrain as well as shopping. In fact it was very light and easy to use and could be pushed with one hand while holding a toddlers hand. It is quite a large pram when folded up so might not fit in smaller car boots and is virtually impossible to use if you have to fold it down to get on a bus.
Overall this is a very comfortable pram with lots of great features and very easy to use. We would definitely recommend this pram.
You can also buy an accessory pack including a foot muff, pram liner and bag. The car seat is also extra.
