What is it...

This is a new product, created to help bring books to life for children aged 4-8. By the use of a pen like Tag you pass the Tag over the words in the book and it reads it out loud. The books can be read by the page or the whole book or by the characters in the pictures speaking to you. After the story there are activities to dia via the tag, at different levels, to gain experience of words. The Tag comes with the book 'Ozzie and Mack' but other books can be bought. You can download up to five books on the Tag via the internet.

Why MumKnowsBest Loves it...

We loved this book and the whole Tag reading system. The temptation at first was for Eva to race over the words which led to a bit of distortion but she soon got the hang of it and slowed down. She loved exploring what was on each page and reading along with the text. The highlight for her was the activities at the back. She soon remembered what the symbols in the book were for. We could even take it in the car or out and about, as the tag and book fitted in a handbag. This is a perfect educational gift for a child, which wouldn't replace a child reading with her parents, but is a great way to make learning fun.
